First, I am so thankful for all of your support after my recent post about the flare-up I experienced. This week on the Digest you'll see a lot of new recipes I've been sharing with you all like my new Fudge Pops, Roasted Carrots with Mescal Lime Yogurt Sauce, and a new Rocky Road with a twist that's coming to the blog soon!
I can't have much cow dairy right now, but I'm good with goats and sheep's milk cheeses and am putting chèvre on everything. I sprinkled some over eggs this morning with broccolini, spinach, and sausage.
Sometimes dinner looks a lot like breakfast did. Especially when you're trying to use up a 2 lb bag of broccolini and bulk sausages from Costco! I sautéed everything with garlic, ghee and roasted spaghetti squash.
Easton grew out of all of Asher's old Hanna's, which were passed down from my nephew (they last forever!) so it was time for some fresh new ones ?
Go grab a free jar of my favorite Nutiva coconut oil from my partner Thrive Market!! Click HEREto get yours before they run out (ends SUNDAY). A new membership is required, which you can cancel at anytime. An easy salad for lunch– greens, pears, goat cheese, bacon, avocado, almonds, and honey mustard grilled chicken. This is a spin on the Roasted Beet and Bacon salad from page 92 of Meals Made Simple.I've barely been able to scratch the surface in reading all of the comments from my post about my recent flare-up between here, Facebook, the blog and emails, but thank you all for the encouraging words. I am so sorry for everyone sharing their stories about their own health struggles. We have built such an incredible and supportive community here, and while I won't be able to respond to everyone personally, I hope that you can read the testimonies and struggles left on the post today and connect with each other too. Got these lovelies at Costco but then I went to Trader Joes and they had them for $3 cheaper! ?
Asher and I had a day date to Sideboard in Lafayette accompanied by a game of Speed. One on one time with your kids is so special!
Happy Saturday! This was a quick frittata with broccoli, sausage, and a side of berries.
Dairy-free rocky road with a twist will be coming to the blog soon! Keep your eyes peeled!
And here's a new recipe that Asher is especially excited about.. they're egg/nut-free Fudge Popsthat I made on Facebook live last week! Make sure you follow me on Facebook so you don't miss out on any big news or my weekly live videos that I do on Tuesdays. You can also watch the video here on my YouTube Channel.
My favorite thing ever is baking with my boys. I can't remember what we were doing here, but I just found this old pic and it made me laugh.
I was so happy to have found this Lasagna in the freezer from my pre-baby prep to feed my in-laws and family last minute! I used Kite Hill ricotta and my favorite store bought sauce in it to make it even quicker. The recipe is in my first book Against all Grain.
