With the tragic events that took place in Paris last week, and the holidays bringing up a lot of emotions and mourning for Aila, we've spent a lot of time as a family this week and lots and lots of snuggles. Here's a peek into our week and some of what I ate!

 I love my mornings with these two. They are both so snuggly when they wake up and I am not complaining one bit! It's been pretty amazing seeing Asher's heart open up to love his little brother as much as he does. I think he prefers him to Ryan and I even lately!

Only in California can you go to a drive in movie in November! Usually, Asher is a bit scared of movie theaters. so this time around we opted for watching The Peanuts Movie from our trunk bundled up with blankets and snacks and we absolutely loved it!

I've been snuggling these two a little tighter every single day. And as you all pointed out on Facebook, Easton looks like he's giving Asher the stink eye and saying “get your hand off my food!” 😉

I love breakfast burritos and when I see them on menus, it's hard to turn them down. Just ask the server to have it without the tortilla! This was a brisket burrito with avocado, pico, and cheese.

Wow! I was so excited to hear that my book was one of the few chosen to be on the shelves of the very first Amazon brick and mortar in Seattle! They chose in part based on the reviews on Amazon.com so thank you to everyone who has left their feedback!! You guys don't know how much your support means to me!

We were honored to play a part in the Signature Chef Auction for March of Dimes with these amazing San Francisco chefs to raise funds for the campaign to finding the cause and prevention of preterm birth. This is a charity that is near to my heart and we were so happy to be involved. 

Life is so fun. Especially when you spontaneously decide to get on a flight with E the morning of and see the CMA Country Christmas show in Nashville with your friend! I'm officially ready to deck the halls!

I tried out a new turkey from Whole Foods recently! The ingredients are clean and it will be so nice to have on hand when I don't have time to do fresh roasted (which is pretty much always these days ?). It's Whole Foods brand!

This is my favorite travel stroller! We love our Bugaboo for home, but this one folds up so small and is light enough for me to carry with E when I'm traveling alone. Plus our carseat clips right in! 

With the holidays coming close, it's been a rough week of reminders and milestones missed with Aila so I've been snuggling this one and Asher extra tight.
