Hope you all had a great week and are ready to dress up and make some yummy treats for Halloween! I had quite the busy week full of new blog posts and a quick trip to NYC to film some videos for Shape.com that will be released soon! I shared a step by step video of my dairy-free and paleo pumpkin spice latte that can be found in my book Celebrations or on my blog. I also shared a new recipe and a video, with a guest appearance from Easton, for paleo oatmeal cream pies. Additionally, I was a guest on For The Love podcast with my friend Jen Hatmaker where I got the chance to talk paleo and all things food! It was probably my favorite podcast I've ever recorded, so make sure you give it a listen when you have free time on your way to work or while you're cleaning up dishes!
Don't forget to upload your pictures of what you make for Halloween with the #celebrationscookbook. Can't wait to see what you create!

This is our favorite fluffy pancake recipe. You can find it in Celebrations on page 68!
I also have a lot of pancake recipes here on the blog too!

If you don’t see it, dig down underneath or ask someone who works there for item number 1043835.

I find they roast best if you leave them out on the counter for a day or 2 to dry out a little.

I shot 4 cooking videos for Shape so keep a look out in the next couple of weeks for them to start rolling out. For one of the recipes, I converted one of my favorite soups – Mexican Chicken Chowder – from my first cookbook to make it in the Instantpot! There’s also Pumpkin CC Bars. ? Look for the recipes and videos on their site in a few weeks!
This pic was from last year when Jen Hatmaker and Kimberly Williams- Paisley and I spent the evening cooking up a storm! Getting into the kitchen and teaching my friends is my favorite thing, ever.
A few weeks ago, I talked to Jen for an hour about food on her podcast For The Love. It was probably my favorite podcast I’ve ever recorded! She’s just so fun and she is the most genuine, complimentary champion for the work her friends do.
Also I love that she real life matches her podcast cartoon in this picture.
