I hope everyone had a great week. I have been busy editing for book #4 as well as getting excited for Halloween by baking and decorating. In this week's Facebook live I had Asher helping me make my spider cookies from Celebrations. Later, I had the whole fam join to decorate them, which resulted in the cookies looking nothing like spiders, but definitely worth the laughs. Scroll to the bottom to watch the videos.
It was a busy week on my blog! I posted about my strategies and opinions on pumping and storing breastmilk in an eco-friendly fashion, I shared a new recipe- paleo pumpkin chia seed pudding, and I had the Whole 30 team on as a guest answering your questions about doing a Whole 30 while breastfeeding.
I also can't forget about the people being affected by the fires in California, we are only about 45 minutes away from all the tragedy and people losing their livelihoods and homes. Napa is a very special place to us and one of our favorite getaways, so seeing how the fires are destroying so much is heart breaking. If you want to know how you can help, click here.

That empty spot is for AAG Book 4!

During our September Whole30, I began getting tired of eggs and meat for breakfast, but still needed something fattening and filling to keep my milk supply up, so I made a few of these chia puddings to keep in the fridge, and they were great to eat in the car on the way to school drop off.
If you are not doing a Whole30, take my advice and add the couple of tablespoons of pure maple syrup to the pudding. It just makes them that much tastier! 🙂 If you are, see my updated note in the blog post.

Tuesdays with Danielle: nut-free and Grain-free “Peanut” butter Spider Cookies from my Celebrations cookbook! I thought it was a smart idea to do a Facebook live with both boys… Kezia’s smile at the end is the only redeeming part of the whole thing. Also note how beautiful the cookies look. ?

Gah! I just doubled the ingredients for the slider cookies and they simultaneously burnt and seem to soft (maybe they will harden as they cool, I hope?). Have you doubled? Also it still only seemed to make 18.
Please help! I have always been met w baking success when I use your recipes!
Thank you! Michele
